Mission planner aspect ratio problem #535

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
When using a wide screen laptop it is not possible to have mission planner in
fullscreen mode, as the telemetry data etc, underneath the HUD is pushed off
the bottom of the screen. The window currently needs to be of a certain aspect
ratio in order to show all the functions of mission planner.

Many thanks

Hi, of course, please excuse the delay, RL hectic, 2 photos, first one is full
screen, tele data missing, second one the MP window stretched as much as i can
before the tele data begins to slip off the bottom.

Cheers for your help :)

ive goto ask, what is it you are looking for. have you tried double clicking
the hud?

i was just looking to be able to display the HUD and the tele data full screen.
In full screen on a wider screen the teledata, and even gps lock message in the
hud disappears off the bottom as shown in the top picture.

I hadn't double clicked the HUD, which i have now, which is an improvement as i
can almost fill the screen and have all tele data visible, but gives me two
windows rather than one. No biggy I realise, it would just be nice if
everything could be shown on a widescreen in one window.

Also when i do double click the HUD this pop-out seems to have a fixed aspect
ratio too, in other words i cannot make it full screen.

Hope that's clearer

Cheers

Actually i have sort of solved my problem, since it's only the HUD that seems
to have a fixed aspect ratio I've found that moving the vertical separation
between the HUD and the map to the left allows room for the gauges etc
underneath it, all in one window.

The only prob is that i can't increase the size of the HUD in relation to the
map and still see the gauges etc. but that is, I suppose, a very minor niggle.

:)
