1 year ago Some rules when crafting:
- Opposite damage types will cancel out.
- E.g. Combining ingredients with 5 fire and 3 cold damage, will result in a potion with 2 fire damage (Might need a UI element to highlight this conflict).
- If multiple ingredients have condition effects, only use the condition of the first one encountered (when searching the crafting slots in order).
- If the conditions have a probability of effecting, then take the one with the highest probability.
Rather than having set crafting recipes (Survival style), try a system where ingredients have properties, so when they're combined the resulting potion has a particular damage/condition combo. Kinda similar to Breath of the Wild cooking system.
