When you type to search in the search bar with Cmd + U, then press Backspace—if you have any blocks selected in the main window (e.g. a block you highlighted in Daily Notes)—it deletes the selected block and quits the search.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Go to Daily Notes.
Type something in a block.
Select this block (by Esc for example).
Initiate search by Cmd + U.
Type something in the search bar.
Press Backspace to try to delete what you wrote for the search.
