character from Russian layout on "[" key changes from "х" to "[]" (on Brave browser) #542

Character from Russian layout ("х", keyCode = 1093) can't be typed using "[" key. Instead "[]" is typed as in English layout.

Search box input works fine.

Problem appears in Brave Nightly Browser ver. 1.16.26 (Ubuntu 18.04, Windows 10), but not in Brave (Ubuntu) or Chromium (Ubuntu).

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Install russian layout and Brave Nightly ver. 1.16.26 (latest on this date)
  2. Turn on russian layout
  3. On a page in Roam try to type with a key that corresponds to "[" character on English layout.
  4. See bug

Maybe this bug will soon disappear if it is Brave Nightly issue.

Now this bug can also be found on latest Brave (Version 1.15.72).

It seems that this bug is fixed now - either on the side of Roam Research or on the side of Brave Browser.
