Additional context
I didn't take the time to see what .rm-multibar's z-index is relative to, but I did find that decreasing its z-index even by one point (from 10 to 9) fixes the issue—the .rm-multibar will no longer show in the slash menu.
Obviously, users can go fix that themselves with their own roam/css, and even if they don't, it's hardly anything more than a very minor annoyance.
