import PyV8 throws ImportError #54

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Python 2.6.5
Boost 1.43
V8 r5103
PyV8 r271

did you build google-v8 as static library? 

Follow the document to download and build v8 engine as static library

scons library=static

What ever it was, it is now OK with newer version of V8.
