App not selectable as contacts app from mail client #24

If i press the contact button from within my mail client i can select apps like
built in contacts or astro filemanager but not corporate addressbook. This
makes it impossible to send mail to multiple recipients.

Hi Anders

Can you please provide more information on this requirement. When I go into my
GMail or Email mail client on my Nexus One, I can only type in names / email
addresses. I am not sure how you can get to Astro / your contact apps from
there. Also if you are looking to email directly from the app, each email
address has a mail button attached to it that will launch a dialog box asking
you to choose between your different email handlers. Also you can save the
contact information to your addressbook by pressing the Options button when you
are viewing a particular contact's information.

Please do let me know what exactly you are looking for and I will be glad to
help.

Thanks
Vivek

Hi. Thanks for the quick reply.
Please see the attached image.
From the mail client you can click the contact button circled in red.
When you do so you can in my case choose from astro or the built in contacts.

This is the only way to send a mail to multiple people, of I do it from your
app the mail client will open a new mail for each contact.

I hope i made my self clear.

Thanks in advice, Anders

Hi Anders

Ok this does make sense now. This looks like a feature that is not available in
the default Android but in the Sense UI skin. I will see if I can add support
for this. Thank you for the screen shot that really helped explain things much
better.

Thanks
Vivek
