A weekly summary of gigs laid on by venues. Venues have the ability to create events within the system, tag bands that are on the system and set various details. These will then be showcased on the single venue page. Events can then be shared to social media and members registered on the system can set themselves as 'Going' which will give the stats for reporting.
The newsletter will run weekly and create an emailable PDF to anyone on the mailing list organised by location, it will list the location, the venue name and the bands that are playing that week with a link to an event if there is one. Any users registered on the system will receive the same email but it will be tailored to the location the have set for themselves and the PDF will showcase local events first.
The name of Andy's Gig Guide comes from Andy Jennings who spent a long time manually asking people to share with him their events that week and he would create a facebook post by location (alphabetical) that told everyone who was playing where that week.
