I'd like to explore the ability to guide the user through some visualisations to enable communicating insights. is it possible to have a pre-loaded animation for specific aspects we want to show? e.g. show how the geogrpahic distribution of electric vehicles changes over time whilst also providing some insights alongside the vis.

It would be good to have a sketch (or sketches) showing how this would work in practice. How does the animation start? Can it be paused/reset? What will be animated? Where will the insights (presumably some text) appear and do we need to worry about these being visible (or, alternatively, obstructing the view) for various screen sizes? Also, is this a stand alone page with pre-made screenshots or is it layered on top of the existing visualisation page?

You could have a look at how we have 'animated' slide 13 of the Regional FES explainer interactive PDF, which shows how the uptake in air source heat pumps will vary across GB under the leading the way scenario in 5 year increments using the FES 2021 results (remember to scroll from 2020 to 2050).
