hello, i like your program If possible, allow me to give a suggestion I need to search on the tab The shortcut key is the effect of "F3" It's not on google, it's on the tab

Hi, unfortunately this is not possible. Add-ons in general can hardly trigger any browser functionality. The only thing that's possible is to build an entire custom search bar, but this requires a lot of work and would still have some caveats wherefore I consider this as out of scope for Gesturefy.

There already has been a request to add an API that allows extensions to open/close the find bar, but it has been declined by one of the developers: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1480019
