Youtube player control panel, which should appear automatically when hovered, as usual, does not appear on the screen with Gesturefy #683

It seems to me that there is a negative impact of Gesturefy. The player control panel, which should appear automatically when hovered, as usual, does not appear on the screen.

  1. open any video on https://www.youtube.com/, in a new tab (this is important), in cinema mode, not necessarily full screen
  2. Wait until the player control panel disappears
  3. point at the player control area - nothing happens
  4. click - the player control panel appears, but the video is paused, which is inconvenient.

The bug only appears when the Gesturefy extension is active. There are no other extensions at the moment.

Hi, thanks for the detailed report. Unfortunately I wasn't able to reproduce it. By "player control panel" you mean this right?

Can you perhaps send a screen recording (you can easily record your screen with a website like this)?

I'm sorry, I'll hurry up and open a ticket. The problem went away after clearing the browser cache. Later I found out that the reason is the option in another browser extension for Youtube: 'Improve YouTube!' I turned off the extension, but it was also necessary to clear the cache, which I did not do. The ticket can be closed.
