Merge original repo #14

It would be good to merge the original project back into this one. That way there are not too many (breaking) changes.

I'm currently running the original project, but had some issues. So i tries this project. However these do not seem to be compatible. The settings page (in the ui) for example is very different with different settings.

We've made a gazillion changes in version 0.8 of Thomas' "allsky" program that you may want to grab.
