Hi @RobertCNelson , are you creating the patches from here https://github.com/RobertCNelson/Bootloader-Builder/tree/master/patches/ against https://git.ti.com/ti-u-boot/ti-u-boot ?

If so, which tags have you used for the v2018.05-rcX releases?

floion commented 5 years ago

Hi @RobertCNelson or in fact, what git source and revision have you used for https://github.com/RobertCNelson/Bootloader-Builder/tree/master/patches/v2018.01 ?

@floion, sorry for the delay, i knew i got your previous email, but i just couldn't find it in my email box, thus was confused for a few days.. All normal "v20wx.yz" directories are based off mainline u-boot with the same tag.. all the "ti-xyz" directories are special...

Regards,

HI @RobertCNelson thanks for your answer. So there aren't any patches against https://git.ti.com/ti-u-boot/ti-u-boot then? I expected that is what you guys used. The reason I am asking is because we are using http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit/cgit.cgi/meta-ti and this layer is using the above u-boot git.

@floion no we try to stick with pure-mainline for u-boot. There were a few exceptions, the am5x based x15, which is still using an old fork of ti-u-boot, i should really move that to mainline in one of the upcoming releases.
