I updated the proxy.php to also support the read action
I changed some stuff in the spreadcart.js (you should see the dif)

I think you forgot to add proxy.php to the commit.

Also, all of my changes are also showing in this diff, so it's probably better for you to check in your changes to the refactoringOfSpreadCart branch so I can see just what you've changed.
