These are two adult F1 (used in the reciprocal transplant) oysters originally from Fidalgo Bay. They were grown out in Clam Bay before being brought in for my common garden experiment in 2015. The 2 refers to which bucket they were in during the common garden experiment; the number is an identifier. Info on date of extraction, quality of the DNA run out on a gel, and wet weight (g) of the oyster before dissection is at this sheet.
Thanks! but do you recall the rationale for sequencing them?
I don't, sorry. They are from a different population than the ones used for MBD BSseq, so maybe the idea was to compare the two methods and if they both worked, then we would have methylation info for all 3 populations?
In organizing data, we have come across two samples provided by @ksil91- and subjected to bisulfite seq.
