Date and phone checks on Explorer 11 throw an Exception #1354

Using the plugin on an ASP.NET Webforms project to check phone numbers and dates. Plugin works well on Chrome and Edge However, Explorer 11 troughs an exception:

Unhandled exception at line 167, column 17 in http://localhost:49827/Scripts/Aspire/jquery.mask.js 0x800a139a - JavaScript runtime error: Unexpected quantifier

Sorry for the late response. Is this about the inputmask plugin as I see jquery.mask.js.
