None of those checks are coming from my IPFire template, but probably come from the Zabbix official Linux by Zabbix Agent template.
system.sw.packages.get
is defined in the Linux by Zabbix Agent (active) template and is natively built in into the agent for getting installed software, however as IPFire is not an RPM or DEB based Linux, the agent does not support this key on an IPFire instance. So best is to disable that item in Zabbix on your IPFire host.
I will add a remark in the README.md about this.vfs.file.contents["/sys/class/net/blue0/speed"]
is coming from the Network Discovery of the Linux by Zabbix Agent (active) template and should work fine, if you have the blue network configured and working on your IPFire instance. I did not check, but possibly, if your blue0 interface has no link, it also has no speed and that file may not exist. If you would need further help with the blue speed item, you should be able to find help on the Zabbix community.
Also added a note on the IPFire zabbix_agentd addon wiki page.
@RobinR1 Thanks a lot for your prompt and detailed answer!
You're right down to the point, so I've disabled system.sw.packages.get
for IPFire in Zabbix, and blue0
is simply not configured (yet)!
After yesterday's update of the Zabbix Agent and the Zabbix Template for IPFire, I've checked on IPFire in "System Logs" the section "Zabbix Agent" and noticed the errors
active check "vfs.file.contents["/sys/class/net/blue0/speed"]" is not supported: Cannot read from file.
every 5 minutes andactive check "system.sw.packages.get" is not supported: Unsupported item key.
every hour.Looking back through the log, these errors are there since the Zabbix Agent and the Zabbix Template were activated a few months ago, but went unnoticed back then, so it's obviously not related to the latest versions.
Not sure if this is an issue with the Template or the Zabbix Agent itself, maybe someone can shed some light on that and how to resolve it, thanks!
