Feature Request: Compression #133

Hi,

the number of points generated by the lidar could be really high. Would be nice to have some sort of compression available to send the pointcloud within ROS2. Maybe package https://index.ros.org/p/point_cloud_transport/github-ros-perception-point_cloud_transport/#humble can be helpful.
