password reset not working #39

when asking for a reset of password in the portal a mail should be sent to the mail address. I aske two times and never received any mail. It means for me to wait as I have problems with this password.

We didn't activate this feature because we can't synchronize svn and portal passwords through ldap at the moment. As a consequence people wouldn't have the same passwords on both services.

So this issue is linked to the main overall issue of password managing. For the moment it was decided to let administrators of the portal manage password manually while the ldap synchronization does not work.

I see your point and remember what was decided. In order to avoid portal users to be distracted and them not to understand, I propose to inactivate for the time being access to password reset and to add some comments in the home page.
