When I play movie on Windows7, always comes this message:

The color scheme has been changed
The following program has performed an action that requires Windows to
temporarily change the color scheme to Windows 7 Basic.

Why?
There is a solution?

Add the following line to 'mplayer\config' (use Notepad or another text editor):

vo=direct3d

MPlayer uses the directx video driver by default which causes that and needs to
be changed to direct3d or gl. Prefer direct3d over gl.

Had the same problem with SMPlayer, which uses MPlayer. Updating from 0.8.4 to
14.03 fixed it. Beware that now the SMPlayer binary is a SourceForge.net
crapware installer and you need to uncheck the installation of a bunch of crap
toolbars and the like.
