I am working on a robotic system which is to be deployed in an agricultural field. Lidar is going to be used for mapping and monitoring purpose. What changes do I have to make to adapt this algorithm for my system where the lidar is mounted facing down, at an angle of 90 degrees? The direction of motion is perpendicular to the orientation of the lidar.
