Query not working #3

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Load a playlist
2. Put something in the query box you wish to find
3. Hit enter

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect it to execute a query and return results for my current playlist.
Instead, it creates a blank playlist in Foobar named "Query", and switches to
that in the web interface, doing nothing.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.9.6.3 on Vista x64

Note, that version is Foobar's. Latest version of your plugin.

Sorry for the triple post. I've read elsewhere that it will make a Query
playlist. My
issue, then, is that no matter what I enter it remains empty. I have another
playlist
I'm trying to query from. Is there a problem with UTF-8?

Query simple-searches fb2k media library, not active playlist as you expected.
and it
does for me, although I can't test whether it works in vista x64.
do you have media library set up in fb2k settings?

I'm afraid not. I couldn't find any good information on the subject so I
assumed it
searched loaded playlists. I'll give it a try. Thank you.

Added a 416GB collection to it and it is now working admirably. Thank you!

glad to hear you've succeeded. media library is very useful and shouldn't be
ignored in any case.
