This can be done using a mode called moving base. It doesn't improve position accuracy, but it gives really good heading data. The link below looks like a decent model to go with, but we haven't decided for sure yet.

RTK (Real Time Kinematics) GPS uses special receivers to get <1cm accuracy. However, most setups use a base station receiver, which is not allowed at IGVC. We want to know whether it can be done using two receivers, both on the rover, placed a known distance away from each other.
