Research purpose bug #145

Research purposes that are too long are not being validated properly.

This is fixed but there is still a bug that is an AT bug. It revolves around the fact that the cancel button does not do what it is supposed to with sub records. To see this do the following:

  1. create a valid research purpose
  2. save the patron record and close it out
  3. re-open the record and edit the research purpose
  4. put in a value longer than 255 characters
  5. click ok and you will get the correct error message
  6. click cancel and the value that is too long is still saved
  7. save the patron record and you will get a but message

Unable to test because of separate issue (issue 158).

Tested successfully in 2.5.3.
