Custom assets are not loaded on mobile app

I've just seen this today. I have my rocket chat with all the assets configured. They work OK on the web app, but the mobile app (for iOS in my case) does not show any of the configured images.

Obviously both apps are updated to their latest versions (server and iOS app).

How are these assets loaded? Are they links to external images?

These assets have been added using the "Assets" administration menu.
