Delayed message or none at all after push notification #2571

The phone is getting push, the overview screen shows an exclamation mark to indicate a new message in the channel where someone wrote something new, but the message preview says "No message" and the new message is not there. Sometimes the missing message is only delayed, sometimes it seems to be completely lost for the iOS client. The web client sees the missing message.

Other users with the same iPhone model or different iOS/Android devices don't see this issue.

Having the same issue. The channel won't load the latest messages. It doesn't matter, if the app was active in background, or freshly opened. A working workaround is, getting back to the channel list, going into the channel, repeat 1-2 times.

App version: 3.3.1 (237) Server version: 0.71.2 Device: iPhone 8 256 GB, iOS 12.1.1

We have the same issues here.

App version: 3.4.1 (250) Server version: 0.74.3 Device: iPhone 8 Plus iOS 12.2

Solved the problem by toggling on the "24-hour time" in Settings > General > Date & Time.

Can confirm that changing the time format in iOS fixed this issue for us.

Doens't work, as 24h format is activated per default here.
