Notifications don't show up despite being set up (Windows app) #11634

Description:

I have notifications after all messages set up on my Windows version of RocketChat. Despite that, I don't get notifications about messages appearing

Steps to reproduce:

  1. myAccount
  2. Desktop notifications for all messages
  3. Save changes

Expected behavior:

I'd expect to get notifications after all messages sent to all the channels I am in. The only exception from that general rule is that I set up some exception (do not notify) in any particular conversation.

Actual behavior:

I don't get info about new messages in a channel if I am not mentioned (by name or "here"/"all").

Server Setup Information:

@maxxberger Does this only happens with channels created before changing the setting or do channels created after changing this settings do this too? Thanks!

@MartinSchoeler we tested it and it appears we don't get notifications in both cases. Sometimes I get it on conversations I was the last who wrote something and own the channel at the time.
