Installation fails on Heroku (mLab MongoDB Add-on Discontinued) #18855

Description:

mLab on MongoDB is discontinuing, we need to update the package in on click deploy

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Click on click deploy on Heroku installation

Expected behavior:

Proceed with successful installation.

Actual behavior:

Something went wrong:

The addon "mongolab" does not exist. Please ensure that the addon is spelled correctly.

I am having the same problem... this issue has been open for more than 3 months at this point and nobody has responded with a fix...

At the very least the Heroku deploy button should be removed from the README until such time as a solution can be found.

mlab add on is discontinued starting from November 10th, 2020. Manual migration is needed. I found some info here
