Font customization is not applied #19707

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to: Administration -> Layout -> Fonts
  2. Change "Body Font Family" to a custom font
  3. Save changes

Expected behavior:

Messages should be shown using the chosen custom font.

Actual behavior:

Messages are shown using the default font.

Additional context

We did upgrade from 3.8.0 to 3.9.0 recently. AFAIK it used to work with 3.8.0

The problem is still here on RC 4.5.4. The font won't change nor in browsers, nor in electron app. Even if I delete whole default fonts list and write Arial into the field.

Same problem. Didn't get any solution on Google...

Even the delete whole default fonts list and write Arial into the field part is the same as you....

Default settings behaves bad to Asia Languages, some characters are not correct
