Hi and thanks for reporting this.

Can you please use a bug template if you are reporting an issue - this information is extremely important for triage:

https://github.com/RocketChat/Rocket.Chat/issues/new?assignees=&labels=&template=bug_report.md

Make sure you follow the guidelines:

https://rocket.chat/docs/contributing/reporting-issues

That includes testing on the latest version of Rocket.Chat - you can test on open.rocket.chat in the sandbox channel.

Note also that for general questions and help you are better off asking in https://forums.rocket.chat or https://open.rocket.chat #support as github is reserved for bugs.

Hi vidaniello!

This seems to be an issue related to the rocketchat electron client, not rocketchat itself. I'm going to quickly transfer this to the appropriate repository.

While I'm at it, what do you mean by

Operating System: 2.4.14

Debian 2.x if I remember correctly is what, 20 years old? Why are you still using that? Or is the version number depicting something else? I'm taking debian out from the context. Please while filling out the template, be as verbose as possible, won't hurt either of us, will it? 😉 You also did not fill out the RC server version. Ignoring that since for this issue that part doesn't matter much.

I don't have access to any Windows machine, so can't test this issue there but I know someone who might. I'll ping him.

Thanks for reporting this. Appreciate it 😄

Actually I'll hold off the transfer for now.

Can you please let us know your RC server version? And also are you experiencing the same issue from other clients like chrome/firefox?

If you take a look at the reporting issue guidelines that Anton shared previously, we always recommend testing on the latest version of RC server.

Make sure you are running the latest version of Rocket.Chat. It's very likely simply updating will resolve your issue.

Since you did not fill the version in, I'll have to ask you to add that and subsequently, test on the latest version.

Thanks :)
