Jitsi not working in Enterprise hosted #28935

Open TipiT opened 1 year ago

TipiT commented 1 year ago

Description:

After installing Jitsi in Marketplace the configuration is not saved and calls don't work.

Reinstall did not fix the issue: https://github.com/RocketChat/Rocket.Chat/issues/28594

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to Marketplace.
  2. Search for Jitsi.
  3. Choose Jitsi.
  4. Click install.
  5. Go to settings.
  6. Find "Conference Call" and click "Open".
  7. See available Provider.

Expected behavior:

  1. In the Settings tab of Jitsi in Marketplace should be a settings tab.
  2. In the Settings -> Conference Call there should be Jitsi available.

Actual behavior:

jitsi-not-there

not-working

After reinstall I can't see the settings anymore, even after refressing.

settings-vanish

And it actually worked the very first time:

We are experiencing the same issue. We installed the Jitsi app on our 6.2.2 instance of RocketChat. We just performed an upgrade to 6.4.1 and the app is no longer working. If I click on the call button then it says no conference call is configured. When I go to the conference call settings, the dropdown doesn't show any options to select as the Default Provider. If I open the Marketplace and go to Private Apps, then the page never loads. There are messages in the logs about "Unable to access Marketplace. Does the server has access to the internet?". Our server does not because it is air-gapped. The Jitsi app version we are using is 2.0.4.
