Do you have a open and valid session on the browser that you are opening the link?

shiryov commented 1 year ago

@hugocostadev The same on Rocket.Chat 6.3.3 with the latest Electron application 3.9.6 If use mainly a desktop application for chat, the browser may not have a valid session. Instead of opening or downloading a document, the user sees a browser with a 403 error. file
