Search Function Not Displaying Messages with Attached Images #31156

Description:

Hello, I noticed a potential bug within the RocketChat platform, where messages, while having a certain keyword, are not being shown in the search results if there is an image attached. This behavior is observed both on the RocketChat Server v6.4.6, v6.5.0 the RocketChat Electron Client v3.9.9, and also when accessed through a web browser.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go into any group chat on RocketChat.
  2. Post a message with a particular keyword and attach an image to the message.
  3. Use the search bar to look for that particular keyword.
  4. Notice that the message with the attached image does not appear in the search results, even though it contains the searched keyword.

Expected behavior:

The message with the keyword and the attached image should appear in the search results.

Actual behavior:

Messages with attached images are not showing up in the keyword search results.

This issue is causing difficulties finding important messages embedded with images. Any help regarding this discrepancy would be deeply appreciated.

Same behavior. I updated to version 6.5.2 but the problem persist.

It's very annoying when the user needs to index important information.
