jitsi.org strange unclosable videocall blocking access to standard UI #7250

Rocket.Chat Version: 0.56.0 Running Instances: 1 DB Replicaset OpLog: disable Node Version: 4.8.3

This is a state in which I found one of client (v2.8.0 on Windows). Nothing helped to close it (Even "Hang Up" didn't...) and get the normal layout back. The only functional solution was to remove and add server again...

I had the same thing happen to me a few days ago. To fix I deleted everything under %userProfile%\AppData\Roaming\Rocket.Chat+. I wish I would have though of just removing and re-adding the server.

I had the exact same issue. Deleting and re-adding the chat server works. Thanks for the tip @andyapo!

I have the same issue on ubuntu 16.04 with the desktop application. My rocketchat server is on a VPS on Ubuntu 16.04 as well.

When I do use videoncall this happen all the time.
