Feature request: Search for users and/or messages

Description:

This is not an issue but a feature request. I would like to see an easy to find/intuitive search bar where you can search for users to send them a direct message. I did not find this so its not there or it is too hidden in my opinion. This could be expanded upon to also search for content of messages to which the user has access so that he can jump to that message feed.
