Improve rooms list with separation of bots #684

What is this?

The rooms menu should show separate listing of DMs between the user and any bot accounts - optionally enabled by an admin.

Why do it?

From a user perspective, a bot conversation has different usage and cognitive separation. Just like private vs public, a bot is different to a user, in the way you use the room and share information. Bot DMs are not currently obvious and accessible enough and can get lost in the lists.

For instances that provide key interactions, chat-ops and team workflows, the bots are considered an extension of the system and it would help UX for to have easy and distinct access to those conversational features.

This is a feature request stub, details and requirements will be planned when it’s added to the roadmap. Please discuss if you have particular requirements in mind or a contribution to make.

Just leaving a note that this will be much easier with the use of the type attribute.
