in the 3DSBank.ini file I was changing the names of the folders and accidently changed the FOLDER_SLOT = # to have a word in it being like this FOLDER_SLOT = vghefgyjvg and every cia except for ds/dsi games were wiped. pls fix I don't need my new 3ds xl being wiped for a third time. Edit: Before corruption started I was stuck on one home menu it didn't matter what the 3DSBank.ini folder slot number it was I was stuck then I did a folder swap using godmode9 with one of the slots inside of the Nintendo 3ds folder then everything was gone even the themes.

Are you sure the folders themselves are wiped? Please check if they're still somewhere in sd:/3ds/3DSBank/.

Trickiy commented 9 months ago

the folders themselves were not wiped just the cias even though the files were still there. godemode9 didn't even recognize the cias could have been a corruption thing.

also I wiped the folders to free up storage because I was given a new Nintendo 3DS folder with a different folder so all the data was useless.

RocketRobz this bug also broke the ds mode part because the version data is corrupt so I now can't play my ds games. I figured out that the version data being corrupt by running TWLFix and only the version data fails.

Got any Ideas on how I can get the version data fixed? also I did update after running TWLFix twice and still broken

I have no idea how it's even possible for 3DSBank to corrupt the version data file on the NAND.

Got any Ideas on how I can get the version data fixed?

The only way to fix it (since I don't know where the file is located in TWLNAND) is to restore a NAND backup.

I think I am screwed because I can't find my nand backup I made.
