XBMC randomly blackscreen when exiting game #86

It's really strange. I've been using the xbmc emulation for a few months now, and it has been working very well. However, after I changed the output device from my Sony TV to a smaller Sony TV, I started experiencing a random black screen issue when exiting games. Additionally, some of the UI text appears garbled. any ideas? thanks for your hard work! I have attached the log for your reference:

I think I've solved the issue by setting the resolution to 480P
