By "funding", do you mean setting a price point and/or supporter DLCs to help sustain development, or raising funds to pay the $100 Steam fee?

The $100 fee is not a problem (just like Apple dev subscription, website hosting etc.). But if I release MM for free on Steam, it will annihilate sales/donations on itch.io. And if it's non-free on Steam, is it fair compared to itch.io (no real benefit for users except auto update)? And what about Patreon (sure patrons would at least get a free Steam key as soon as their donations reach the Steam price)? And I'm too busy with dev right now to think about funding. :D
Also care about of Winget if you have time #620 (I hope)
Feature/enhancement description:
Consider a steam release.
It would be a great way to increase awareness of Material Maker, and streamline updates for users. Godot, Krita, and Blender are on steam and this would be an great addition to anyone's library.
