Some people like to have the loading at normal mode to emulate a real spectrum,
so the manual configuration is necessary. To avoid the hassle, you can save a
snapshot image of the game.

Snapshots are useless for multi-load games and could even be considered today
as "legacy" from the times when proper tape file support was still being worked
on...
What I'm suggesting is a new turbo mode that's _only_ activated when the
emulator is loading from the tape.
That's a pretty handy feature that's implemented in most current Spectrum
emulators, which can be considered an "enhancement" to the original system's
limitations while keeping it compatible with every game in existance, including
those that load its levels separately.
Please do consider adding such an option.
