4 years ago After some experimentation, we've figured out that there is a time element at play here. If bids come in within the first 3 seconds of the bidding, they ALL show up just fine. After 3 seconds (non-scientific, could be 5 seconds, could be 2 seconds), the addon no longer receives see bids come in.
Hi, We've been using Monolith 2.1.2 in Classic since December. When we first started using it, we had no issues with people being able to submit bids. As time went on, a few weeks later, and WoW also updated, we started having problems where people submitting bids in any capacity, whether it was through the Bid button, in /raid !bid, or /tell !bid, the addon would not recognize the bid. And then sometimes it would for some players, but not others. And then sometimes it would work just fine. And then sometimes it won't accept bids at all.
In all of these cases, I tried everything from logging out of WoW, reloading the UI, disabling other addons, in cases now, and over the last two months, being able to receive a bid consistently is not working.
In cases where it doesn't work, I find myself having to manually do /dkp award on items, and if I don't do it right, it doesn't actually add the item to the loot distribution box. It makes it where looting of 1 item can take upwards of 4-5 minutes.
Please help. Something has drastically changed in the way that the client and the addon receive whispers and communications.
