No use of thumbstick button by default. #39

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. No use of thumbstick button

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
thumbstick should be used as a modifier by default I think, like most
programs, but there is the holding of keys, which is good, but intuitive.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
.1.2

Please provide any additional information below.
This has to be a simple feature I imagine so I figure it is worth a mention.

Unfortunately, I don't think this will be implemented. Use of the thumbstick
button
was intentionally avoided to not alienate those with d-pad conversions without
the
button and in case a later revision was released without the feature...which
happened
with the f200.

Technically it could be added as an option, but there is actually quite a bit of
involved coding dealing with the holding of keys that I don't want to code
around to
put this in place. I'll leave this open though and take a look through the
code to
make sure it's not trivial...in which case there would be no reason not to
implement.
