Clean up the code included in the published package

Overview

This is my first time creating a package so while it may be working, it is also guaranteed to be incorrect and flawed in some ways.

Solution

Here are a couple of things that need to be carefully reviewed:

• dependencies in package.json: What is unnecessary/can be removed
• rollup: Has the package been bundled correctly? Have the plugins been used correctly?

Used a combination of commands and tools to get rid of excess dependencies in the package.

• npm outdated
• npm dedupe
• npm audit
• npm prune
• npm update - https://docs.npmjs.com/cli/v10/commands/npm
• npx npm-check - https://www.npmjs.com/package/npm-check
• npx npm-check-updates - https://www.npmjs.com/package/npm-check-updates
• npx depcheck - https://www.npmjs.com/package/depcheck

Leaving this issue open until I review how I used rollup.
