Auto-Disable on Airplane Mode

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Switch on Airplane Mode
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

expect: Sipdroid auto disables itself and won't produce an connection
timeout error 
it should enables itself when airplane mode gets disabled

what you can see is a blinking LED and an timeout error in the notification
bar.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Sidproid 1.0.9 with HTC Hero@Modaco 2.3

Which SIP server are you using? What happens with PBXes?

sipgate.de but shouldn't metter

The LED and timeout error themselves don't bother me. but I'm sure continued 
attempts at reassociation/registration will drain the battery. If no mobile 
data and no wifi is connected, why try to register?
