After rejecting call, vibrating ring continues until SipDroid app killed via task manager. #192

1. Make call from an outside PSTN line to line handled by SIPDroid.
2. SIPDroid incoming call screen appears, Android device begins ringing and 
vibrating (per my settings).
3. Press Menu Key on Android device.
4. Press End Call Soft Key on Android device.
5. Call is Rejected as desired by Android device.
6. Android device stops ringing as desired.
7. Android device continues vibrating (not desired).
8. Kill SIPDroid app via any of the 9,347 task killers on the Market.
9. Android device stops vibrating.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

- SIPDroid 1.1.8
- Motorola Droid, original November 6 2009 firmware (Firmware version 2.0, 
Kernel version 2.6.29-omap1-g04df51f, android-build@apa26 $477).  Build 
Number: ESD20.

Which SIP server are you using? What happens with PBXes?

- Gizmo5.  Untested on PBXes.

Please provide any additional information below.

- Disabling vibrate-on-ring setting is a workaround (obviously).

Problem still exists for me in version 1.5 on HTC Desire

I just got ready to test this on v 1.5.1, however it appears that the vibrate 
option is no longer available.  The only options under notification are 
Voicemail, Missed Call, no data, and SIP Ringtone.  I want a working vibrate 
option back, please.

Confirmed on 1.5.2 beta on Nexus One running Android 2.2.

I noticed however that using my volume keys also cancels an incoming call, and 
the vibrating *does* stop as desired.

I also have this problem when not picking up a missed call on the Evo 4g

On a nexus one w/ android 2.2, The same problem occurs for me no matter how I 
respond to the call. Ignoring, answering, and putting on hold all leave the 
vibrator on, Unless I ignore using the volume keys (as steven.brudenell 
described), after which I can still answer the call normally.

Same issue here on Nexus One with Android 2.2. The crazy thing is, if I call 
myself via the pbxes.com webinterface and reject the call via Sipdroid my phone 
keeps vibrating forever, even if I exit Sipdroid. So the only option is to 
shutdown the phone, since the pbxes.org webinterface has no cancel/end call 
button.

as of the latest release, the vibrate feature seems to not be available option. 
 Where did it go?  I can't confirm or deny whether the bug exists since I can't 
get the vibration feature to work.  I've searched and searched and cannot find 
reference to where to turn it on (i remember it was on one of the setting 
pages, but isn't there now)

i confirm this is fixed as of 1.5.4 beta.

man, responsive developers rock :)

to comment #11: for me, sipdroid's vibrate behavior follows the phone's global 
settings (Settings > Sound > Vibrate). it doesn't appear to have its own 
vibrate setting. if normal phone ringing vibrates for you but sipdroid doesn't, 
you should probably file a separate bug.
