Issue 171 has been merged into this issue.

When this happens to me, it happens on both Wifi and 3G/HSPA
It seems to be more of a problem with the way that the program integrates
itself with
the dialer.

I have the same issue on my HTC Hero.
Even more, if I try to dial from Sipdroid, I have dial the number manually,
there is option to select from my contact list (my contacts are on SIM card).

Also have this problem on HTC Hero, no matter the network I'm connected to.
Also, let me remark that the
option to dial using sipdroid or GSM doesn't show in contacts.

Hi,
I'm using Sipdroid 1.2.1 with Hero Modaco ROM 3.0, but everything works just
fine.
However, I got the same problem when I upgraded to HTC 2.1. I'm wondering if
Sipdroid
also supports Android 2.0/2.1 platform?

I got the same problem with my HTC hero. It is not the case by using sipagent
lite 0.7.
It integrates seamlessly with HTC dialer. Hope this information helpful.

same problem, HTC Hero android 1.5.
More Details:
After Installation of sipdroid the Option "Sipdroid if available" worked
properly.
Once I chanced the Option to "GSM Call (no sipdroid)" which also worked
properly.
Now I changed back to Options "Sipdroid if available" and "Sipdroid" but it had
no
effect, telephon calls go by GSM even though WIFI is available and Sipdroid
indicates
to be ready (green led).
I'm using Sipdroid 1.5 beta

In my case, sipdroid is opening fine when calling someone through the
'people'-program (dutch: contacten) or from the favorites-widget on the HTC.
However, when calling someone from the 'Phone'-button at the bottom, the
standard GSM calling app starts instead of sipdroid.
using HTC hero android 1.5, sipdroid 1.5.2 beta

hello
i encountered the same problem. yes the dialer is not the one which showed in
sipdroid tuturial. i would say it is straight from the phones original
dialer. not the one from Sipdroid. therefore all calls are through GSM not
the SIP at all even sipdroid is regestered normally as i saw the green dot
were on all the time.
