What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install sipdroid on HTC Hero
2. Register to any SIP server
3. Make a call to a desktop SIP phone and answer, echo will be heard
when say something from the desktop phone (no echo on HTC)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
1. There should be no echo heard on each side.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1. Android 1.5, sipdroid v1.1.8 beta

Which SIP server are you using? What happens with PBXes?
1. SER (actually any server has the same result)

Which type of network are you using?
1. WLAN

Please provide any additional information below.
1. The output gain from HTC is too high, it should help if the output
gain can be adjusted to be lower
2. Lower the receiving gain from the sipdroid setting does not help

confirmed on TMobile Comet. Turing on speakerphone fixes the issue since it
uses echo cancellation
