Phone's mic is permanently muted when speakerphone is used with Sipdroid on Motorola Droid #252

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. initiate a VoIP call using Sipdroid via the Motorola Droid's built-in
phone app.
2. tap the speakerphone button.

What is the expected output?
Expect to continue the call on speakerphone with two-way communication.

What do you see instead?
I can hear the other party, but they cannot hear me.
Furthermore, toggling speakerphone off does not resolve the issue. Neither
does attempting to toggle the mute button.
In fact, hanging up and calling again without speakerphone does not resolve
the issue either.
To resolve this muted mic problem, Sipdroid must be killed and then
restarted.

What version of the product are you using?
1.2.4 beta

On what operating system?
Android 2.01

Which SIP server are you using?
Gizmo5

Which type of network are you using?
WiFi

This issue of "Muted Audio" is triggered by both "Speaker Phone" and also by the
configuration option of "Auto-Answer in use".

In version 1.3.7 the speakerphone still mutes the mic on Moto Droid. You can
hear the
other party, they cannot hear you.

SipDroid version 1.3.10 on N1 running 2.1Update1 connected to asterix pbx over
wifi.

On selecting speakerphone, receiving party reports echo. Toggling off
seakerphone
causes outgoing audio level(from nexus one mic) to become almost inaudible.

stopping and restarting SipDroid (with task manager including killing sipdroid
services) only partly improves the received volume(intermittent). Restarting the
phone resolves issue until next use of speakerphone.

Not shure if related to this issue, but on Motorola i1 running Android 1.5,
sipdroid 1.5.5, I get no audio(like phone is muted) originating from phone on
any sipdroid call, I can hear other party fine.
Fix (???) is hit menu as soon as call connects, hit sipdroid speaker softbutton
that pops up, and it is fixed. An additional speaker icon appears on top of
screen(separate from speakerphone icon) and audio works both ways now. Have to
do this on every call.
That strange additional speaker icon does not appear on any other app and is
not in phone manual??? weird.

The same problem still seems to occur with Sipdroid 2.4 on my HTC Desire-S
running CyanogenMod 7.1
Is there any fix?
