What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. make an outgoing sip call with sipdroid 1.2.4. (I'm using nymgo.com voip 
service)
2. call hangs after about 2 minutes. no further audio beyond this point.
3. try to bring up the phone's call list - a blank screen appears, and 
after some seconds Android puts out an error message "com.android.phone not 
responding - Force close or wait". After this point for further SIP calls, 
the call does connect but no further audio.
4. After rebooting the phone by removing the battery, the same thing 
happens when you try making a sip call again as in step #1.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The SIP call should continue and not hang. The com.android.phone process 
should not hang. Instead the com.android.phone process hangs, and for 
further sip calls, no audio is heard.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Motorola Cliq, Android 1.5

Which SIP server are you using? What happens with PBXes?
Nymgo.com. Not using PBXes.

Which type of network are you using?
Problem is observed with WiFi as well as 3G (T-Mobile USA).

Please provide any additional information below.

I am having the same problem with my Motorola Cliq. I used sipsorcery, sipgate 
and
the google voice combination - and everything works great - SipDroid is 
compatible
with the blur dialer.

I too am having this issue on the Cliq xt. I was able to get 
Fring>Sipsorcery>sipgate>GV working fine I just ventured into trying to get a 
native sip app from my phone to reduce delay. So far I am sporadically able to 
get one way audio from sipdroid but no incoming audio. Also when I call my gv # 
my sip phone rings and I answer it but the line I am call from continues to 
ring and eventually goes to voicemail.

I have a Motorola Photon 4G.  I tried to configure the native phone app to use 
my sip account.  When I dial into the DID I have with the sip account, the 
phone rings once and I get the force close.  I just wonder if this is a 
Motorola issue when you try to use sip.  Alternatively, I have not tested yet, 
but has anyone received this error when connected only via 3G, or always with 
WiFi?
