At the moment this is in conflict with another bug where the audio garbles on a
Nexus
One when the screen sleeps during a wifi call. Therefore the present patchwork
solution has been to leave the screen on during all calls. If you manually lock
the
screen you may find you have garbled audio.
Presumably once someone gets to the true heart of this problem and fixes it,
then we
can worry about letting the screen turn off!

Well, at least it should sleep on 3g calls then...

I'd like add to this request as well. Overall sipdroid is working well on my
Motrola
Droid running Android 2.1. I'm using it with pbexes.org and call centric.
I've been testing this setup for about week and so far I've accidentally hung
up on
at least one person per day because the screen didn't sleep properly during
calls.
Thanks for all of the hard work!

Presumably the wifi problem is because wifi is set to sleep when the screen
turns off. A better solution would be to temporarily change the setting while
in a call.

Please integrate proximity sensor event to turn off screen, because now it very
bad to call without it.
